Shadow Hills Everyday Leadership today.
This week's Everyday Leadership at Shadow Hills started out with BAD NEWS - all 17 students were informed that this would be the last meeting because funds had been cut so there was no more money to continue the sessions! The students were all visibly shaken by the news.
AND THEN - APRIL FOOL! The students were shown the rest of the story since it's April Fools day! Not only is it continuing but they learned about their yearend party coming up in may and then worked on a team building exercise for the rest of their time together. Next week they'll look at their projects which are to combat bullying in their school and to support the local animal shelter. More to follow.
