 e 2026-27 Governor of Rotary District 5400 and a member of the Rotary Club
  of Boise-Southwest.\n\nMike grew up in Stanley and Challis\, Idaho\, and 
 joined Rotary in 2011 after first experiencing its impact through his wife
  Beth&#39\;s participation in a Group Study Exchange to Argentina. Rotary 
 has since become a family affair: Mike and Beth have hosted nine Rotary Yo
 uth Exchange students and three Group Study Exchange participants\, and th
 eir two sons participated in Rotary Youth programs (Jack went on exchange\
 ; Colin went to camp).\n\nMike has served Rotary in club\, district\, regi
 onal\, and zone leadership roles\, with particular experience in youth pro
 grams\, learning and development\, and leadership development.\n\nProfessi
 onally\, Mike has spent more than 30 years working in technical communicat
 ion\, education\, learning and development\, and human resources. He perio
 dically teaches at the university level\, and he is a co-owner of Simple A
 \, a digital content agency that helps organizations simplify and improve 
 the way they communicate.\n\nAs Governor\, Mike is focused on Leadership\,
  Service\, and Joy&mdash\;growing leaders\, making meaningful service easi
 er to join\, and helping create Rotary experiences where people feel welco
