Eagle/Garden City Rotary Club's third annual Ball Drop at the 54th Eagle Fun Days was a great success!
Eagle/Garden City Rotary Club hosted its third annual Ball Drop, at the 54th Eagle Fun Days on June 28, 2025!
Set against the backdrop of Eagle Fun Days’ two day vibrant lineup—featuring a Family Fun Night, car show, cornhole tournament, and Dry and Wet N’ Wild parade—the Ball Drop added an extra element of excitement to the celebration.
Friday night we provided more than 400 bottles of chilled water (and had a bowl for our community dogs) at Family Fun Night.
Saturday we met community members and sold tickets up until the last minute.
Mayor Brad Pike released more than 1000 balls from a bag suspended from the Eagle Fire Department fire engine ladder parked in front of the Eagle Public Library. A large crowd gathered to witness the unique fundraiser which culminated in two lucky people winning $1,000 grand and $500 second prizes.
Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets at Eagle Saturday Market, Eagle Fun Days and on our club website. All proceeds support local community initiatives backed by the Eagle/Garden City Rotary Club.
We are grateful to partner with the City of Eagle as an Eagle Fun Days sponsor. Special thank you to Mayor Brad Pike, Eagle Fire Department and Joshua Herker, Special Events Coordinator!
Do you enjoy serving and learning about our community? Would you like to meet and work with fun people? You are invited to attend our weekly meetings: Thursdays at Eagle City Hall at noon. Doors open at 11:30, bring your lunch to visit before the meeting.
